In compliance with paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and section 122 (3)(b) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Act”), shareholders are advised that Astral Foods has received formal notification from Sanlam Investment Management (Pty) Limited (“Sanlam”) that Sanlam, acting as agent of its clients, has in aggregate acquired an interest in the ordinary shares of the Company, such that the total interest in the ordinary shares of the Company held by Sanlam, acting as agent of its clients, now amounts to 5,00% of the total issued ordinary shares of the Company.
