DEALING IN SHARES BY A PRESCRIBED OFFICER OF THE COMPANY


In compliance with paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
details of the dealing in securities by a prescribed officer of Spear (“Officer”) are disclosed in
the table below. The Officer disposed of a number of Spear shares, inter alia, for purposes of
estate planning and settling certain financial obligations, which disposal only marginaly
reduces the Officer’s existing shareholding in Spear.
