On 25 May 2023, Capitec received an amended notification from The Capital Group Companies Inc advising that the interest held in the Company by Capital Group Companies clients had declined to 4.8778%, and not 1.2602% as previously advised. The amended notice has been filed with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
