Preference share dividend announcement

Class IMRP1 redeemable cumulative non-participating unsecured listed no par value preference
shares (“Preference Shares”)

Declaration of dividend number 21

Notice is hereby given that preference dividend number 21 has been declared from retained earnings
for the period from 31 May 2023 to and including 30 August 2023 amounting to 543,33207 EUR cents
per Preference Share, converted to 11,105.70751 ZAR cents per Preference Share (using a ZAR/EUR
exchange rate of 20.44 as at 07 August 2023) payable to Preference Shareholders as recorded in the
books of Investec Bank (Mauritius) Limited (“the Company”) as at the close of business on Friday,
25 August 2023.

The relevant dates relating to the payment of the dividend number 21 are as follows:

•   The number of issued Preference Shares in Class IMRP1 of the capital of the Company is 50 000
    Preference Shares
•   The dividend paid by the Company is a foreign dividend and is subject to South African Dividend
    Tax (Dividend Tax) of 20% (subject to any available exemptions or reductions in terms of Double
    Tax Agreements as legislated) equal to 2,221.14150 ZAR cents per share
•   Preference Shareholders who are exempt from paying the Dividends Tax will receive a gross
    dividend of 11,105.70751 ZAR cents per Preference Share
•   Preference Shareholders who are not exempt from paying the Dividends Tax will receive a net
    dividend of 8,884.56601 ZAR cents per Preference Share.
