(“JP Morgan Chase Subsidiaries”) have, in aggregate, acquired an interest in the ordinary share capital of Capitec, such that the total interest in the ordinary share capital of the Company held by JP Morgan Chase Subsidiaries now amounts to 5.11% of the total issued ordinary share capital of Capitec. The requisite notice in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act has been filed with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
