Novus Holdings Limited (JSE:NVS) is one of southern Africa 2019s largest print production and manufacturing operations. From short to long print runs across all forms of print material, labelling and plastic packaging to jumbo wadding from its Tissue division, the group's ongoing investment in people and technology allows it to deliver the industry solutions of tomorrow, today.
The products and services provided by the group are delivered by four divisions:
Novus Print
With substantial investment since 2000, Novus' plants are equipped with the most advanced equipment available in all areas including pre-press, press and post-press. The on-going implementation of state-of-the-art technology ensures highly efficient, fully automated production processes that deliver quick, high quality printing of almost any format.
Novus Packaging
Novus has a rich legacy of fine label crafting and is recognised as a market leading label printer, having started its business in the wine label market.
The group's acquisition of ITB Flexible Packaging Solutions in 2017 saw the creation of the Novus Packaging division. Novus' expanded offering now encompasses not just label printing in the form of wet-glue labels, pressure sensitive labels and wrap-around labels, but also flexible plastic packaging. This division now services the beverage, petrochemical and broader FMCG markets.
Novus Tissue
Novus Tissue allows the Group to expand its manufacturing operations in the paper industry by harnessing the potential of waste paper (produced by the extensive printing operations of the Group), in the production of tissue paper. Novus Tissue 2019s facilities feature an environmentally friendly paper mill, large storage facilities and a convenient national distribution network. Novus Tissue continues to deliver exceptional quality tissue, using the best available technology in cost-effective formats to meet increasing consumer demand.
Novus Tissue manufactures quality bulk tissue and jumbo wadding products. These are used by other manufacturers who convert the tissue into a complete range of household and consumer products such as toilet paper, facial tissue, kitchen towels and serviettes.
Novus Academy
The Novus Academy is the Group 2019s internationally accredited training institution that offers a range of technical, life skills, management, leadership, IT and systems courses and programmes. The Academy has been instrumental in unlocking the potential of Novus' employees as well as industry professionals from across the globe. It also provides customers with access to training that empowers them to manage their own projects efficiently. Courses are accredited in South Africa with the FP&M Seta and internationally through City & Guilds of London.
